You are so right Tim, the governments are just procastinating about doing what is necessary, because of how much it will cost them and how much money they will lose.
It is so frustrating, I have been calling and calling, and being shifted from one department to another.
What do you think about lobbiests? Probably too expensive to hire. Do you have any ideas? But I do have no doubt that they will eventually have to come around. Diane

I had a similar experience with the government.

I feel that this will only be resolved similarly to that of the recent Lotto corporation scandal. They had known for many years that there was problems and people were being ripped off, and they chose to ignore it.

Its easier to sweep it under the rug for them.

The media is very unfriendly on the MAP theory as it conflicts with major corporate interests who pay massive advertising fees.

No simple answer here.

I think brainstorming a plan of action will be required.
Letters make good toilet paper, but thats about it.

Possibly give a politician a glass of MAP water? Sense its apparently harmless he should have no complaints.

Welcome to the Crohnscanada forum. Thank you for posting. May I ask where you are from and if you are taking the anti-map treatment? The Quebec government here have started to a Johne's Control Program, but it is on a volunteer basis only. It should be obligatory, the Precautionary Approach should have been taken, but as you said, its all about money and politics. The Federal Government here, on the other hand, is definitely in hiding on the subject.

Tell me do you find this site clear enough, or is it confusing. I just wonder as not too many post, considering all the traffic the site get. They seem to read the posts and move on. Anyways hope to hear from you again, Diane
