The Uk Government has responded to the petition by Chronic Crohns Campaign, it can be seen on
http://www.number10.gov.uk/page17538
It appears to suggest that funds are available for research, but I don't know if Chronic Crohns has applied for them, in a way that is effective.
From a personal standpoint, I believe that there is a conflict of interest where the same organisation who claims a new disease cause wants to raise money to cure it, maybe to line their own pockets?
The main problem is the increase in hospital admissions for crohns here in the uk, the latest figures will be published next month,
Also, we are waiting for the results regarding mAP in Bulk Tanks, this could be used to justify research into crohns.

| It is late, and I am having trouble deciphering what the response says. Is there actually a response in there somewhere? Yeah it says that they fund research into IBD but they don't give a response to the petition. |
