Here in the UK, the average person drank around 3 cartons of milk a year infected with MAP. Maybe one in 20 of us are already infected by it. Project Sacrohn found that 70% of crohns victims are MAP+. These victims are from a population of about 300,000 that may have crohns. The 30% of people with crohns who are MAP- come from a population of about 60 million.
Doctors don't do maths, I do. These figure show that people who are MAP + are about 44 times more likely to get crohns than those who are MAP- given those figures.
As my teacher used to say Q.E.D anyone agree ? do I get a star?
