The New DNA Crohns Vaccine.

This last month the Prof John Hermon Taylor has released the official science paper for this new vaccine, that has cost £650.000 over the last 6 & 3/4 years. We have a further £400.000 to raise to get this paper through it's official human trials, testing & the red tape & licensing. Following this the new vaccine will cost £1.4 million, to private investors in a private company on the UK stock market.

The Prof JHT will be moving this month from St George's University Hospital , London, to another London Hospital called Kings. When I have the new contact details , I will come back and post them on here.

Thank you so much Tim for posting. I am so glad to hear the good news.
I have been researching to prepare a Proposal for our government here in Canada.

According to my research, the provincial government where I live, (Quebec, Canada) has had the link between Mycobacterium paratuberculosis in cattle and Crohn's disease in humans on the table since approx. 2001, and enstated a Johne's Control Program in November of 2007.

I have been speaking to the federal government also, but still have to do the research. I will be reading soon.

Hi Diane

Our UK Governments have known about the link between MAP - Johne's Disease & Crohns Disease for over 17 years, when the Prof JHT took the evidence to MAFF, now DEFRA, to their HQ in John Smith Square in London. Did not want to know was their reaction, they had the BSE / CJD problem, and look how that has resulted out. As a campaign group we are also very suspicious about the high amount of cattle slaughtered in the recent Foot & Mouth outbreak here in the UK, as a lot of the farms were well out of the areas of Foot & Mouth, but we do know cattle were tested right across the UK for MAP by DEFRA. It could well be the fact that cattle were slaughtered with MAP under the flag of Foot & Mouth, to try and bury the MAP fiasco a bit further.

As you know we do not blame the UK farmers, it is the system around them, that governs them, that is responsible for this really tragic, horrendous health problems of Crohns, IBDs & IBS, that no one wants to acknowledge, for the simple reason, it will affect their profits if admitted. To them, human lives do not matter, only profit & greed.

I suspect you have a large cattleman loby in Canada as in the US, that " control " the Dairy / Beef Industry with Government. Like here in the UK, the MAP - Crohns Link is well covered up, and the big drug companies would loose £ $ millions if there were no sufferers of IBDs & IBS. I strongly believe ALL are acting together to keep the capitalist machine running for their profits.

Good luck with your proposal to the Canadian Government, and lets hope they listen, as I am sure they know that MAP causes Crohns in humans & Johne's Disease in cattle & other animals. It is time this health problem was sorted, and I am ashamed of the UK Governments, they are real Whimps !!!! " Put Health before Profits " is all we ask.
