Scroll down to "New Publications" and it is the first document entitled "Johne's Disease on U.S. Dairies, 1991-2007"
But don't worry, GIs assure us that MAP is only a secondary invader. And that assertion is supported by...? Oh yeah, not much. If MAP was an opportunistic secondary invader, why don't we find it in the same proportion of patients with colon cancer who have inflamed tissues? And furthermore, this secondary invader argument is not consistent with the established fact that MAP is a proven multihost chronic enteric pathogen, which would - to a common sense type of person - suggest that it is associated with causation and not merely incidental colonization.

Hi everybody, I am Dr. Nick Riviera, you may know me from such Simpsons episodes as Bart Got Hit By A Car. Formerly known on this site as sh!+_stains.
And so it goes, we continue to study MAP in animals more than MAP in humans.

So your changing your name?
Don't expect people to take you so serious, Dr. Nick being the infamous Quack doctor from The Simpsons.
I love when Grandpa Simpson demands to see a Quack and they all look at Dr. Nick, and he goes to work, diagnosing him with something like Bonous Escapous, and claims its a condition where the skeleton tries to leap out the mouth and run away (LOL). Then he starts frying him with the 110V lamp wires.
Then again, I use electricity too; so maybe I'm the Quack here haha |

because sh!+_stains was so much more serious. the whole idea is that it is a joke; could dr. riviera be satirizing any people we know? hopefully what i write will determine whether or not people take me seriously.
to be honest, i don't think you even use electricity. otherwise, why not take the three minutes it would take to post some pics and maybe help a lot of other people.
but let's not get off topic too much as the subject matter of this thread is pretty significant _________________ "Hi ev-ery-body, I am doctor Nick Riviera!" |

I already answered this, I will be doing it at the end of the summer.
You can easily prove it for yourself, look at your blood under an ultra darkfield microscope before and after 3 weeks. You will see a shocking change. There are lots of labs in my area, Toronto, that do this testing.
Don't take my word for it, do your own research and come to a conclusion.
I pop on here on my coffee breaks sometimes, but otherwise I'm going to be quite busy this summer. I have to write an ethics exam for my profession designation, and do some technical papers, and work full time, and hit the gym once a day, oh and things are busy so a bit of OT.
I managed to dig up one of my pictures before the Beck protocol.
Leave your email address, I'll send you one before and after for now, I have a digital cam so I can take a now photo. It is quite a dramatic difference.
Blood tests and the official package I will do like I said, at the end of the summer. |

blah blah blah, just do it now, so we know it didn't take you all summer to build the thing. plus, if you have time to email "after" pics, why no time to post a picture of you and the zapper? i thought you have to use the thing once a day, so...
finally_igotit@hotmail.com
if you don't know how to post the pics i'd be happy to post them for you

Seems like they are making progress with regard to educating producers. That is genuinely good news.
"Conclusions
In Dairy 2007, 94.1 percent of producers either were
fairly knowledgeable or knew some basics about Johne’s
disease compared with 54.8 percent of producers in
Dairy 1996. The Dairy 2007 study indicates that 68.1
percent of U.S. dairy operations are infected with MAP.
Results from the NAHMS Dairy 2007 study indicate that
producers are implementing management practices
aimed at reducing MAP transmission, suggesting
Johne’s disease educational efforts are working." _________________ "Hi ev-ery-body, I am doctor Nick Riviera!" |

Hi you guys
Thanks Sh Stains for the article. As soon as I have some time I will post it on my website.
Why are you guys arguing? please don't argue, sort of takes away from your credibility and usually you have a lot of valid points to contribute.
I think we have enough to deal with at the moment, with Johnes running rampid through U.S. herds. We have to stick together you know, there are not enough of us, as there is.
How are you guys feeling these days, spring usually brings on attacks, so I guess this is not the best time of year.
We have to think of a plan of action to put a fire under the governments butt, too many people are getting sick from this disease. Anyone have any suggestions? Diane |

You're right Diane.
If I can only say one more thing on the off-topic. As a person with Crohn's who knows there can be ups and downs and that current treatments are less than ideal - see Infliximab post - I am disappointed and frustrated that exploited won't post the stuff more quickly. If it works as exploited says, it is earth-shattering information that could help so many, and it is apparently attractive as far as side effects go.
I am currently doing really well thanks. Doing everything I want: energy, weight, appetite, pain, stools, everything is fine. However, as I mentioned, there can be ups and downs, and I am going to stop the antimicrobials in a few months, so will have to see how things go then. Because I am stopping them, and because they are not always a perfect cure (maybe they were, but maybe one was re-exposed to MAP, or to other pathogens that might promote the inflammatory response if the leaky gut is not completely healed) it would be nice to have an alternative, which is why I am interested in Dr. Beck's protocol, and why I wanted more anecdotal evidence of its effectiveness.
Not sure what to do to get the Government going. Perhaps we need a writ of mandamus, which would command them to act. _________________ "Hi ev-ery-body, I am doctor Nick Riviera!" |
